Time Indexing Demos

There are some online demos that show a small subset of the capabilities of the Time Indexing set of products. The demos that we have currently show:

• the video search system
• the audio system
• the video system
• the data logger

The Video Search System

The video search system demo provides access to parts of a video stream by searching for any words that are in spoken during the video. The result of the search shows the sections of speech that have the requested words, and by clicking on a link, the section of video associated with the speech will be played.

The Audio System

The audio system demo provides direct access to parts of an audio stream from a specific point within the stream. By having a configurable start time and duration the audio is accessed without needing to split the audio stream into many small sections.

You can choose the start time and duration from a selection of MP3 streams.

The Video System

The video system demo provides direct access to parts of a video stream from a specific point within the stream. This system also has a configurable start time and duration so that video can be accessed without needing to split the video stream into many small sections.

You can choose the start time and duration from a selection of MPEG streams.

The Data Logger

The data logger demo utilizes the Web Server Log plugin to allow the indexing of web server log data. The web server log data can then retrieved, using the time-based selection operations.
